Sarfraz Ahmed appointed as new T20 captain of National Cricket Team

Through a notification, Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed as the new captain of national T20 team in place of Shahid Afridi. After resignation by Shahid Afridi, the appointment of Sarfraz Ahmed as the new T20 captain was expected. Sarfraz Ahmed has already played 21 T20 matches, 21 test matches and 58 test matches for Pakistan. Now after 5 years, Pakistan will play its next T20 match that will be against England team.

It is important to note that Sarfraz Ahmed was the vice captain of national T20 team while he was the captain of Quetta Gladiator team during PSL.
